For customers in the local area, we operate a collection and delivery service. So if you'd like your car washed whilst you're at work then please ask for details.
Machine Polishing is a specialist skill and is best left to us. We see many customers who have bought themselves a cheap polisher and tried themselves. The initial results are often good but usually fade very quickly.
However polishing actually takes off a layer of paint and there's also the danger of leaving "swirl marks" which usually makes the paint look worse than before.
Waxing
It's been said that you can't wax a car too much! Wax not only gives the paintwork a shine but also helps protect it from damage. If your vehicle has been parked under a tree or near a chimney, airborne particles settle onto the paintwork and are baked into place by sunlight.
Waxing helps prevent contaminants from reaching the surface and also makes them much easier to remove !
Tar Spots etc
We use an industry standard chemical solution called Traffic Film Remover (TFR) to dissolve tar spots and other road dirt.
With the correct products and techniques many cosmetic problems can be repaired leaving a professional finish. However without the experience of a professional such procedures can actually do more harm than good.
We've seen customers who have "had a go" themselves and stripped layers of paint or left permanent marks in their paintwork.
